With the thought process of executing this project in 45 days, the office unit of this twin factory building was successfully completed.
The evolution of materials is displayed strategically throughout the building. Starting from the ground floor with the use of florid rustic finish metal and girders reflecting on the initial stage (of anything metaphorically) and keeping it raw. As we move up the first floor incorporates distinctive shades of grey and brown that comes out as a rather finished product - almost there but not yet until you reach the final floor. This final stage of greens and chic style is brought up in the terrace with sheer luxury and open spaces. This is the breather. Exploring rawness in its most refined from - ReDEfining “raw”. (The phase two of this office design project)

Such is the course of life and success that starts with the utter rawness and experimentation with unexpected highlights and only after facing that does one learn the importance of what resides ahead. That is, once the pieces start to fit and the puzzle seems to come to an end. The final stage is always the beautiful picture that provides the view to larger horizons and comforts of life - the terrace office space.
The office design was conceptualised to be a place where leisure is also conductive for people to work in a creative environment, a workplace to enjoy sensual luxury.
As one enters the first floor from the lift the lounge starks with it’s contrasting furniture and custom made lights that coordinate with the theme of the office. Followed by the lounge are the cabins constructed using I section metal girders with fixed glass to mark partitions. These are simple and sleek cabins . In the director’s office, the use of live edge tables and concept designed lights and furniture bring out the rawness - fusing two raw materials; metal and wood. The hand crafted coffee table is a cross sectionally cut bark with incorporated I sections which forms the legs. The 6 seater meeting room with a peculiar flooring design flows down off the wall design indulging into the corridor space; redefining borders

The corridor consciously directs the visitor to the cabins on the further end of the floor that are in the same material; metal girder and fixed glass forming the semi-circular shape. The outer part of the cabins have open workstations made by cantilevered metal frames creating a constantly interactive workspace. Filling the spaces between the cabins and the walls are storage cabinets ; shades of textured grey with an ambitiously drawn curvy form done in wooden laminate that competes with the custom designed furniture in metal and wood.
The flooring and walls on the first floor are kept as cement finish in micro concreting to blend in with the theme. The ceiling plays an important role in the studio creating a visual transition. The pattern on the floor flows on to the lounge wall ; that acts as waiting, abstracted in wood also extending into multiple abstract cabins that are designated to separate offices but still keep them connected .
The ponderousness of the metal is nullified by the use of glass and the chic lighting while the crafted furniture provides uniqueness to the edifice in totality.
The most interesting part is an experiment with designing the washbasin and the mirror elements.
The on-site bespoke basin is cast on site in concrete. The mirror has an iterated mondrian pattern with exposed plumbing and some false pipes running in front of the mirror.
